Sales of Kia cars in Russia rise 24% to 209,503 vehicles Jan–Nov

MOSCOW, Dec 4 (PRIME) -- Sales of Kia cars in Russia rose 24% on the year to 209,503 vehicles in January–November, setting a record for 10 years of operation of Kia Motor Rus, a local subsidiary of South Korea’s Kia Motors, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The market share of the Kia brand in Russia stands at 13%, the company said.

In November, sales of Kia Rio cars amounted to 8,500 vehilces, while sales of Kia Sportage jumped 50% to 3,100 units, sales of Kia Sorento Prime surged 53% to 750 units, and of Kia Picanto jumped 76% to 463 units.
